W Punta Cana, checked for a group of 40, not necessarily a honeymoon.
I went as a hosted buyer with SDQ MICE. Five days, one fair, three hotels. What I checked, what I asked, and what I couldn't confirm.

Is the W Punta Cana worth it for a company group?
For a company group, yes, too. For events, it has a lot of spots. Overall, it's a 7.8. Not an 8 because an 8 means I would send my own group with no conditions, and here I would like to get three things in writing first: the transfer, the beach, and maybe a rain plan.
- Event spaces7.4
Most of the good spots are outside.
- Getting there7.3
We got lucky because there was no traffic.
- The room8.6
It's not a 9 because of that patio.
- The surroundings7.5
It's not higher because of the water.
- The service7.3
It's not lower because they actually fix it in a day.
- Free time8.7
We didn't try the restaurants themselves.
Three things in writing first: the transfer, the beach, and maybe a rain plan.
- 7
- For me, a seven is good, but there's something that maybe you want in writing first.
- 8
- An eight means that I will send my groups with no conditions.
- 9
- A nine is the best in its kind that I've ever seen.
- 10
- And a 10 means I've never seen anything better anywhere.
What's in the full notes?
Same trip, three hotels: the W, the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo and Santo Domingo Bay, on the way to Boca Chica. What I checked, what I would ask before signing, and what I couldn't confirm. Leave your email and I'll send them.
